Part of this behaviour depends on an activation AGENEON completes before it goes live for your workspace. The page in your workspace states the current state truthfully.
Rules
A rule says when to follow up: a lead entered a stage, a customer stopped replying, a next action is due, a booking had an outcome, an order was created. Each rule has a delay, a window inside your business hours, an attempt limit and an approval mode. A rule that is not enabled schedules nothing.
Approval
Require approval means a person reviews the prepared message before it is sent; it waits under Agent work as a proposal. Automatic within scope sends without review, within the rule's window.
Execution states
Scheduled, sent, skipped, cancelled, failed, approval required, or delivery unknown. Delivery unknown means the provider did not confirm the send; AGENEON does not retry it blindly, because a blind retry is how a customer receives the same message twice. Sending itself depends on the channel's activation for your workspace.
